Good to know
Flush mounts directly into a panel cut-out — clean install with no surface-mounted housing sitting proud of the panel. Hardwired via two terminals rather than plugging into a cigarette lighter socket. The energy saving switch eliminates parasitic draw when devices aren't connected, which matters on setups where the battery is unattended for extended periods.
How to fit it
- Cut panel opening to the required dimension
- Feed the socket through from the front
- Connect positive lead to your 12V or 24V supply — fuse at source
- Connect negative lead to chassis earth or negative busbar
- Secure socket from behind using the supplied hardware
- Test both ports before closing up the panel
